Fire Safety Day

Playing catch up here from a couple weeks ago...For Fire Safety Week, the local fire department came out to Bre's daycare.  It was first thing in the morning and little BreBre was still waking up!

Here she is with the FireFighter, not upset but not too excited either...

After we got home that afternoon, she was sitting up playing on the floor and thought this was a sweet picture with her name on the back of her shirt.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Last Monday was Breanna's first field trip! 

We went to the pumpkin patch with her daycare, Little Froggies.  Tracy, who runs the daycare, made all of them matching shirts to wear.  She made frogs out of their foot prints. 

We were trying to figure out how to get a group pictures without having all the moms in it, so we decided to prop Bre & Landry up with pumpkins.  Landry is Bre's buddy at daycare, he's just 5 weeks younger.

The pumpkin patch was set up at Ellis Pottery and they had several different displays set up, very cute!

All the kids got to pick out a pumpkin to bring home, she was checking it out pretty hard!

We ended our field trip with lunch at Chick-Fil-a...I would say pretty successful trip!  I decided to take the rest of the day off and not send her back to daycare and that was even more fun!  We did some shopping and then played at home!

I'm planning a trip back soon to take a few more pictures in something other than her field trip shirt :)  Just want to make sure I have the whole pumpkin patch fully documented!

Happy Birthday DeDe! 

We can't wait to see you this weekend!  Should be a really fun time!

I've been working on going through Bre's closet to take out all the clothes that are too small for her and make room for some bigger things.  I don't know why it is so hard for me to put away my favorites even when I know they are getting tight on her!  I guess it's just having to admit to myself that she is getting bigger...anyway when I did I came across this dress that I had bought at a Repeats Are Neat sale and I just think it's so cute on her, so that was good motivation to keep my hard work up!

Hard to tell from these pictures but she is becoming quite the roller, especially when you're trying to change her diaper.  Luckily she turns towards the wall (not that we ever leave her unattended) but it does help contain her somewhat.  We just think of it as more of a challenge, glad she's keeping us on our toes!

There she goes with her tongue...wonder if she's going to be like her Uncle Chad and always have her tongue out...I don't think we're to that point yet but we'll see...

She just looks like a sweet little angel in this picture!  Who can do no wrong I'm sure...Yes, she has me wrapped around her finger, right where she wants me!

She loves to scratch the couch (and the wall by her changing table) I guess she likes the sound it makes when she does, whatever the reason, she loves to do it!

7 Months Old!!

Fair warning....there are a lot of pictures!  I had a hard time narrowing them down! 

BreBre is 7 months old!  The time is flying by!  She is doing really well at sitting up on her own.  We still try to keep a pillow behind her just in case.   

We had a little photo shoot after we got home from church.  She was all dressed up, even had shoes on!  I have not been good about remembering shoes up to now, she's mostly been bare foot or in socks.  Not sure why because I think baby shoes are adorable...oh well, we missed out on a couple pair she had because she's now wearing size 2.

She's still so happy for the most part, always smiling!  She is getting very vocal and really exploring her voice, always talking and even squealing/screaming very loudly at times!  We try to keep the squealing down because it can get very loud and very high!  I guess the good thing is that she is normally happy while she's doing this, although sometimes you wouldn't know it if you couldn't see her face. 

The last time we were home, Lilly & Reid were also in town and she was talking to Reid but apparently he wasn't paying attention to her.  So she proceeded to let him know by getting his attention with a very loud scream!  She got almost everyone else's attention and probably his very last, but she was persistent until she got his attention.  Luckily, we were almost the only ones in the restaurant because it was something else!

Still thinking her top teeth may be working their way in because she is always chewing on her fingers/hands or a toy.

Love these onesie stickers but if I could do it over again I would print them on solid sticker paper instead of transparent because on some outfits they just won't show up, so I end up taping it on...oh well.  I have thought about reprinting them for the rest of them but we'll see...

Love her sweet little baby feet and had to get a picture of them!  I know they won't be this little for ever, especially if she takes after her momma!
